The Economist predicts e-book sales will overtake paper sales by 2018

Despite the recent reported slow down in e-book sales, in a nifty interactive infographic the Economist forecasts that sales will continue to rise nonetheless, and overtake print in the US and UK by 2018.

Of course by then we might all be flying jetpacks and squirting fiction straight into our brains (or burning print books to keep warm at some post-apocalyptic roadside).
